The Cape Cod Maritime Museum is Cape Cod’s first museum dedicated to the maritime culture of the area. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to preserve the rich maritime traditions and history for which Cape Cod and the Islands are known. We strive to enable audiences of all ages to understand and enjoy the maritime culture through exhibitions, collections, public events, and educational programs.
By partnering with other local museums, we bring a year-round cultural and educational asset to the village’s waterfront and to Cape Cod. Every year, visitors from the immediate community, around the state, New England, and the world visit us to learn about our rich maritime history.
