Register your boat for the 2025 Hyannis Harbor July 4th Boat Parade HERE!
Presented by the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Hyannis Marina, and the Hyannis Yacht Club
Join us on Friday, July 4th, 2025, as boats decked out in red, white, and blue cruise through the inner harbor, showing off their patriotic spirit to the hundreds of spectators gathered at Bismore Park and along the waterfront.
Event Schedule:
• 2:45 PM – Staging begins between Green Channel Marker 15 and the Hyannis Yacht Club Dock
• 3:15 PM – Parade begins, led by the Parade Marshal
• Vessels over 30’ will lead
• Followed by vessels 30’ and under
The parade will make one pass through the inner harbor.
Important Safety Information:
• All participants must monitor VHF Channel 13 from staging through the end of the parade for live updates and directions
• Two Parade Marshals will be positioned near the Steamship Authority and Hy-Line ferry docks with STOP/GO signs—please follow their instructions
• Maintain a minimum distance of 50 feet from the boat ahead of you to allow for potential pauses due to ferry traffic
Registration:
• Required for all participants
• Entry numbers must be visibly displayed on the starboard side
• Registration is free, but donations to the Cape Cod Maritime Museum are encouraged
• Entry numbers and details will be available for pickup at Hyannis Marina, Hyannis Yacht Club, or the Cape Cod Maritime Museum on July 2nd & 3rd from 10 AM to 4 PM (until 6 PM at Hyannis Marina)
• Participants will be notified in advance of their pickup location
Patriotic Boat Contest:
🏆 Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic boats in two size categories:
• 30 ft and under
• Over 30 ft
Judges will be stationed above the Hyannis Marina Fuel Dock, and winners will be announced around 4:30 PM at the Aselton Park stage, just before the evening’s band performances.
🎁 Prizes can be picked up at Hyannis Marina Fuel Dock on July 5th & 6th from 10 AM to 6 PM.
