Special Event - Jerome Rand: Sailing Into Oblivion

  • Cape Cod Maritime Museum 135 South Street Barnstable, MA, 02601 United States (map)

Join us on our tented patio for a special fundraising event featuring Jerome Rand, who will share the story of his solo circumnavigation of the globe - one of sailing’s greatest and rarest challenges.

A sailing instructor and captain for over 20 years, Jerome’s love of the open ocean began with transatlantic voyages between the Caribbean and Europe. Those early trips set him on a path towards the adventure of a lifetime: sailing alone around the word in 271 days, a journey of 29,805 miles, without a single stop.

Beer, wine, and assorted non-alcoholic beverages will be available, along with light snacks. Come early to grab a drink and enjoy views of the beautiful Hyannis Inner harbor before the talk begins.

We recommend reserving your tickets online in advance, as popular events often sell out. Walk-ins can’t always be accomondated, so plan ahead to secure your spot!

Tickets: $35 General / $30 Museum Members
