  • Cape Cod Maritime Museum 135 South Street Barnstable, MA, 02601 United States (map)

International best-selling author Barbara Eppich Struna is often asked, “Are my books real or imagined?”

As a storyteller and lover of history, especially Cape Cod history that’s visible today, Struna crafts her novels between the past and present using two parallel timelines that unfold in mystery, adventure, and suspense. Join her on August 21 – 5:00-7:00pm ...learn what inspires her and discover a few facts about Cape Cod that are new to you!

A storyteller at heart, Barbara Eppich Struna lives on Cape Cod with her family in an old 1880 house where her imagination is constantly inspired by the history that surrounds her. An international best-selling author, she bases her tales on Cape Cod’s history and her own personal experiences. All five suspenseful historical novels, part of her Old Cape Series, have won numerous awards and thousands of reviews. Barbara is Past President of Cape Cod Writers Center; member of International Thriller Writers; Sisters In Crime, National, New England and a Member in Letters from N.L.A.P.W. She also writes a blog about the unique facts and myths of Cape Cod.
