HISTORY ON TAP: THE STORY BEHIND THE GALLERY SCENES: PRESIDENTIAL SUMMERS - THE KENNEDYS ON CAPE COD

  • Cape Cod Maritime Museum 135 South Street Barnstable, MA, 02601 United States (map)

Join Wendy Northcross, Executive Director of the JFK Hyannis Museum, for a look into Presidential Summers – The Kennedys on Cape Cod, now on view in the museum’s main gallery. This exhibit captures the magic of Cape Cod weekends, when President Kennedy arrived by helicopter to be greeted by his children and a lively group of nieces and nephews, ready for candy store trips and family fun. For JFK, these summers meant renewal, inspiration, and cherished moments by the sea.
